The breed has a white coat although there are some that have a red and white coat. There are around four colors including the one with black and white coat, red and white, gray and white and another with a pure white coat. With these varieties, you can not fail to find a color that interests you.

For height, the breed can grow up to 14 inches and weigh around 18 pounds. Mini Husky Care Needs

Miniature Husky needs special care. For one, they have a long and thick coat which needs regular cleaning and grooming. Failure to clean the dog can cause the coat to become matted and this can be painful for the dog. Besides grooming, the breed requires regular exercise to release excess energy. Without taking proper exercises, they can become very aggressive towards people and other animals. To avoid this, take it for a walk around the neighborhood or to the park on a daily basis. Be sure to put it on a leash when walking in the park. The dog has very light legs which make it easy for it to run for hours without getting tired. This may be a bit annoying, especially when it decides to run away from you and you’ll have to chase it through the entire park.

Another important thing to note about Miniature husky is that they need human contact in order to remain calm. They can be reserved around strangers but once you show them that you actually love them they will not get away from you.

Feeding the Miniature Husky is not different from feeding regular Huskies. The only difference is that you need to give them small portions because of their small size. In addition, have a consistent pattern for feeding your dog so you feed it at the same time of the day. Also, feed it on high proteins and fats but low carbs. Premium foods are recommended because they have all the nutrients the dog needs to remain healthy.
